A Human Rights "Sign-A-Thon" Weekend

The "International Human Rights Sign-a-Thon Weekend" (February 18 & 19) is about to begin! This is a grass roots activity to get thousands of citizens signing onto a petition to raise awareness and teach human rights. Teaming up with like minded groups and organizations, Churches of Scientology around the world are participating.

The Human Rights Department of the Church of Scientology International has organized this global effort to promote the dissemination and implementation of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This petition is one aspect of the Church’s Making Human Rights a Global Reality campaign, which has the purpose of creating tolerance and peace through human rights awareness and education. The Founder of Scientology, humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard stated that, "Human rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream."
