In the last century, man’s technology has advanced further than at any time in his history. In the span of a lifetime, he has gone from the first crude powered flight to transatlantic television transmission, human heart transplants, a computerized global village and leaving his footprints on the surface of the moon.
Despite this, man still has little understanding of himself and even less ability to solve the problems which plague his society. Surrounded by the criminality, brutality and war so common to this age, he sometimes seems more like his stone-age ancestors than one striding into the bright promise of the 21st century.
Well-meaning men in government, science, business, education and other fields have tried to effect change. Millions upon millions of dollars and countless hours have been spent trying to solve the problems of crime, drugs and illiteracy — but to no avail.
For many years, the Church of Scientology has involved
itself in actively solving the problems of society. Inspired

Scientology is the most rapidy growing religion in the world today. With more than 8 million members worldwide, it provides workable answers for the individual and society.
As any movement expands and gains greater prominence, people have questions about what it is. This is an obvious consequence of growth and one has an obligation to make more information available.
